Meet the Team

Jeffrey D. Anderson

Founding Attorney

Jeffrey D. Anderson is a former BigLaw litigation partner and trial attorney who leads JDA Trials’ litigation-first practice handling motor-vehicle collisions, premises liability, and other personal injury matters, as well as wrongful repossession litigation.

After graduating with honors from Texas A&M University, Jeff earned a full scholarship to Texas Tech University School of Law, where he graduated summa cum laude and ranked in the top 8% of his class.

Jeff made partner at Holland & Knight—one of the nation’s largest law firms—at age 32. During his tenure, he served on the firm’s Innovation Committee, helping drive the adoption of advanced litigation technology and modern practice tools.

Jeff has tried cases to verdict in Texas courts and in arbitration and has obtained millions of dollars for his clients. His experience includes catastrophic injury and wrongful death trucking cases, as well as investment fraud and complex commercial disputes. He has appeared before more than 30 federal judges across all four federal districts in Texas.

Since founding JDA Trials, Jeff has been trusted with litigation referrals from law firms throughout Texas and Florida, as well as national firms—including both BigLaw and leading plaintiff firms. The firm routinely handles high volumes of motor-vehicle and premises cases referred by partner firms, with an emphasis on early case evaluation, prompt filing when warranted, and disciplined litigation through trial when necessary—aimed at improving average case value across the docket while also aggressively litigating high-value matters.

Jeff previously served as Chair of the Houston Bar Association’s Securities, Litigation & Arbitration Section and remains committed to community service, including work with the HBA’s Special Olympics committee and providing pro bono representation to U.S. military members through the ABA Military Pro Bono Project and other local legal aid organizations.

At JDA Trials, Jeff and his team combine the resources and sophistication of a large-firm background with the responsiveness of a boutique trial practice—focused on achieving outstanding outcomes for clients and trusted partner firms.
